HEY THERE ITS FANFICDUDE here to talk about my thoughts on the new look on the 90's original heroes the powerpuff girls

but before i do heres the news on Fiona Frightening, the game only has about one week left untill the fundraising is over and it has 910 dollars on its pockets heres a link

now then my thoughts

HISTORY WITH THIS SHOW

i really dont remember the history, all i know is i saw the episode with fuzzy turning people into meat, and the magician zombie, i got hooked to the show, and i liked all the episode (but the episode where the girls go to the future where Him is ruler of the world not my favorite)

i have huge respect for the show for years

i love the original cartoon

i found the anime sweel

and if it was not for these girls i would not be here, and it made me start shipping, YEAH ITS THAT POWERFUL (blossxdex forever

)

so knowing my history if you ask me what i find this new episode that is NOT made Craig McCracken on the scale of 1-10, i say 8

THE EPISODE

in this episode Mojo jojo has attempted to steal 3 celebrities one of which is a badger for an evil plan he is mustering up (dont worry i wont spoil what the plan is all i can say is you'll be going 'Wha?' and after being thwarted by the girls by turning his giant robot into a giant gunny bear........its a cartoon dont ask, the girls got a special treat from the professor (because they have been very good this day?) which the girls got an Xbox Esq (although i prefer the wii) game called Dance Pants Revolution (DPR)

Mojo, after seeing the game the girls begged for. (that has left the store into total disaster with their powered fit) then came up with a plan to make another dance pants game (as in he got DPR game and box and put some paper in some parts to make it dance pants REVILution 2) with mind control pants that makes the girls robots (the perfect dancing weapon, THAT MONKEY FIEND...but chuckles still has mojo beat, i'll get into that another time)

THE OPINION WHICH SOME OF YOU MIGHT NOT AGREE WITH

i know some or most people are not the biggest fan of CGI or 3D, but for this new rendition of PPG i find the animation to be OK. also it reminds me of claymation Christmas specials for some reason which is a huge bonus from me

the designs is a solid acceptable

they also have most of the original cast back for the episode

and afew new voices......afew being the key word not much new voices are in this

the episode is kinda silly at times but in a good way, its a cartoon its supose to be silly at times

the fact that the powerpuffs can make anything into gummy bears (being mind boggling as is) is still an interesting power (I WANT THE POWER TO TURN STUFF I HATE TO EAT INTO CANDY AND STILL HAVE THE PROPERTIES OF THE SAID FOOD WILE HAVING CANDY TASTE)

the characters are still the same with the same personality

the ending, albeit out of nowhere is really unforeseen and very cartoonish if you ask me and i find it enjoyable

also when they said they dint touch the formula THEY ARNT KIDDING AROUND the humor is still there, the action although small is still excellent and the voices of the original charicters as i said before was still intact. all is well......buuuuuuut

PROBLEMS....er problem?.....i dont know if i can find another problem so i suppose i cant make it plural

although the episode is funny and gold there is one thing that has bumped this episodes 10 down to 2

as i mentioned before they can turn ANYTHING into gummy bears. but how do they do it

well obvious, you freeze it, beat it up and heat it up untill its all gummy......i dont know how

my interpatation of a random reader that has found this journal by searching: ok so blossom freezes the thing, buttercup beats it and bubbles uses her lazer eyes right

me: i wished.....yeah blossom DOSE NOT HAVE FREEZE BREATH (dramatic chipmunk) instead BUBBLES HAS FREEZE BREATH

and if you say

random person: so whats the deal?

me: THE DEAL IS THAT BUBBLES CANT BREATH ICE BREATH SHE SPEAKS SPANISH FLUENTLY.....and Japanese (blossom also knows Japanese but bubbles speaking Spanish is her special skill) and if you did say that then you are a fool to think that bubbles can breath freeze breath (IM NOT TAKING IT BACK FLAME SHIELD UP) i know im making a moutain out of a hill (Its not a molehill the problem is bigger then that so its a hill) but COME ON THE FLAW IS RIGHT ON OUR NOSES, besides that one flaw i still enjoyed the episode

also the fact that the professor moved to townsville when he looked like hes in his 20's is kinda weird but ehh i recomend thinking its a non cannon episode so yeah

FINAL THOUGHTS

i think that this episode is actuly enjoyable, flaws....or in my case flaw or not i would watch it again

if your a fan of the original try giving this episode a go, if you dont like it, its your opinion and dont go flaming me for standing up to this flash to the past

I was wondering why Bubbles has ice breath and then I thought maybe ice breath is not a special power anymore, just one of the regular ones. But that would be silly to think that. And I think having that Plan Brocolini power would be awesome because kids wouldn't be leaving food they hate untouched if the food would be gummy bears! After I watched it the first time, I thought the Powerpuff Girls were sometimes hyper like they ate too much sugar. And I was wondering about Blossom shooting a laser out of her mouth. I was like "WTF?"
